CFA Central Office
In 1958, Mrs. Jean Rose became the registrar for The Cat Fanciers' Association, working out of her home on New Jersey. At that time, she donated two large rooms of her home from which the business of CFA was conducted. In 1965, Mrs. Rose took the unprecedented step of renting office space in Red Bank, NJ. Four years later, the organization had outgrown these facilities and again moved. By 1980, the association was bursting at the seams and purchased a 5,000 square foot facility in Ocean Township. Even this space was quickly outgrown.
