CFA Centennial Celebration Challenge

Coming to a Region near you….

It's time for the world to choose a new kind of Idol - the FELINE kind!

For the first time ever, the Cat Fanciers' Association announces an international search for a CAT Idol!

To celebrate CFA's hundred-year anniversary, this exciting award is a first of its kind, combining the excitement and competition of top cat shows with high technology to let the public interact with the cat fancy on a level never seen before. Beginning in competition at a Regional level, participants in selected CFA shows will earn points toward Regional Centennial Celebration Challenge Awards. The Best of each Region will then go head to head online - voted on by members of CFA and the public, to choose the international BEST of the BEST!

All CFA registered cats are eligible to participate. Awards will be given for Kitten, Championship, Premiership, and Agility classes.

Regional Directors have chosen 10 shows, from December 1, 2005, to April 30, 2006, which will allow cats to earn points toward the CCC. Every Region will have two designated shows per month; a total of four shows each are chosen for the Japan and International Regions. Points are earned only in the exhibitor's region of record, and only at CCC designated shows within that region.

Points are accumulated and scored by show rather than by ring. The scoring of the CCC in no way affects qualification for or scoring for any other CFA award or title. CCC Scoring is based on the total of all points earned at CCC shows in the Region of record in the designated class.

You don't want to miss this opportunity to support your regional shows and your chance to qualify for what is sure to be one of the most prestigious awards around! Be the first to have a CAT Idol!

Good luck to all!
